ACTIVITIES
The Chicago-SMU-Cambridge Global Initiative on Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency seeks to pursue several activities, including:
- To conduct cutting-edge research in insolvency and restructuring law
- To analyze the impact of insolvency laws on the promotion of economic growth
- To promote academic and policy discussion that can contribute to the improvement of insolvency laws around the world
- To foster cooperation between academics, practitioners, judges and policymakers
- To assess insolvency reforms around the world
- To organize academic events with a global, comparative, policy-oriented and industry-relevant focus
- To work closely with associations of insolvency practitioners and turnaround specialists from around the world
- To team up with other academic institutions to promote research and awareness on corporate insolvency
- To engage in international dialogues and policy discussions involving initiatives and legal reforms in the field of corporate insolvency and restructuring law
