Asian Corporate Law Forum
The Asian Corporate Law Forum (ACLF) aims to be the preeminent organisation in the world for scholarship on corporate law and governance in Asia. The ACLF’s primary objective is to generate ground-breaking scholarship on Asian corporate law and governance to advance the understanding of corporate law and governance in Asia and around the world.
The ACLF was established in 2023 through the collaborative efforts of 10 of Asia’s leading law departments, renowned for their expertise in corporate law and governance. Each Institutional Member will hold an annual ACLF conference to bring together leading corporate law scholars with an expertise on Asia to develop and publish cutting-edge scholarship on corporate law and governance in Asia each year.
The Founding Institutional Members of the ACLF are: Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Law; City University of Hong Kong School of Law; Jindal Global Law School; Monash University Business School; Monash University Faculty of Law; National Taiwan University College of Law; Peking University Law School; Seoul National University School of Law; Singapore Management University Yong Pung How School of Law; and the University of Tokyo Graduate Schools for Law and Politics.
This year, the Inaugural ACLF was held at Singapore Management University, Yong Pung How School of Law, on 12-13 April 2024. Look out for ACLF 2025 at Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Law from 24 to 26 March 2025 – and ACLF 2026 at Monash University Malaysia and ACLF 2027 at The University of Tokyo Graduate Schools for Law and Politics.
